We warmed up for a few minutes and then my mom spun her racket and it ended up on d, which is what I had guessed. I chose to serve first. By this time it was blazing hot and the wind had picked up speed. My hair is all in my face and I know this is going to be a very difficult game to play. Now, most professional tennis players know how to work with the wind to their advantage, either slowing her quickening their shots with softer or more enthusiastic shots. Now let's also not forget that I am NOT a pro, therefore I have absolutely NO idea how to do this. I go for my first serve of the game and unfortunately the wind is blowing against me so it goes into the net. On my second the wind decides to change directions so that when I think I know what to do and hit the ball harder, it's long. By this time I'm steaming with frustration and of course the wind stays blowing from behind me so most of my shots end up being long. I growled and huffed in aggravation, and that's pretty much how the whole time went. Until I just couldn't keep up with it and gave up. The ending score was 5 to nothing and I was moping the rest of the day. My mom wants a rematch today and fortunately there's no sign of harsh wind yet. Key word being yet. Subsequently, I will be on a lot more up until 2 January, when, unfortunately, I must refrain from too much on computer time. So I say, be patient, friends, for I am doing the best that can be done. Well, this is only the beginning. This five days of Thanksgiving break have just made me even more weary than usual! And that's saying something. Anyways I decided to update here for the second time today because 01.I am extremely bored 02. I have a need to let this out 03. And because I might not have time in the coming week to update very much so twice in one day will have to equate for some other days that I unfortunately will have a shortage of time. So, here it goes... I ate sooo much in the two days that my family and I celebrated Thanksgiving that I must have eaten the equivalent of about seven turkeys packed in one. (And I'm only partially exaggerating). There was so much food we have leftovers that will last us the next couple of weeks. Not kidding. There was turkey (of course), ham, the most AMAZING macaroni you would taste in your life (made by my mama and I, naturally), yams with brown sugar and marshmallows, Green Beans, mashed potatoes, and whole lot of PIE. Mountains and rivers of PIE! I mean really, you would not believe the number of pie eaten at thanksgiving this year! There was apple, apple caramel, apple crunch, berry (we don't know what type of berry, which might be precisely the reason it has not been touched yet), pumpkin, pumpkin cheesecake, nestleys crunch, toll house, and baby ruth cheesecake, sweet potato and many more that I forget the names of. And all the while I know you've been thinking, Okay, why the heck did these people celebrate Thanksgiving twice? Now I could answer this for you, but I would be lying, simply because I have no idea. Am I tired? Yes, but that's not in the least hard to figure out, right? Yeah. Anyways, I can't BELIEVE I'll have to go back to school tomorrow, which will totally ruin my mood. *Sigh* I'll live I guess. I hope. Well, until the next, questionable blog, ciao bellas! (cya!) First: Lightbox isn't working at all for some reason so I can't put any graphics up yet, Second: I'm attempting at changing the content links so that they're not a block-ish but haven't found a way to have them change and not the navigational and Elite links, and on top of it all, I need to work on making this site more popular. Except this could be a problem because Paralyzing Silence doesn't really have a viewer appeal right now, so why would anyone want to periodically visit it? I have some issues people, but I really hope that I can fix them so that anyone who is reading this won't lose interest. I really am trying! Just bare with me, and I will get everything together ^^.
